We are looking for a Lab Technician to join one of our research teams in Pittsburgh, PA.
Your role
As a member of our research team, you contribute to the technical input of the assigned project and provide technical expertise in cellular assays and biochemical readouts to the project team.
You conduct assays under the supervision of senior team members to obtain the scientific data required in accordance with the project timelines.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the results, analysis of the conformity of the data, identification of gaps and implementation of corrective measures.
You perform first-line trouble shooting independently and identify points of improvement.
Job requirements
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
Prior lab or industry experience is required (internships also qualify).
Exceptional attention to detail.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Organized and accurate in your work but also flexible towards changing plans.
Able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Stress resistant in our highly dynamic environment.
Desire to learn new concepts and experimental procedures, how to solve complex problems with limited information.
Based in the Pittsburgh area as this is an on-site, lab-based position.

Base compensation for this position ranges from $53,200 to $79,800. Actual base compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge, demonstrated skills and geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify base salary ranges at any time.
