Scope of the job

As Senior Clinical Development Scientist, you will be part of our growing clinical development team, and will use your methodological, analytical and scientific expertise to develop smart study designs in different phases of clinical development. You will have a key role in study design, protocol writing, statistical analysis plan development, data cleaning, interpreting study results for data-driven decision making, and writing of clinical study reports. To best achieve this, you will keep up to date with conference updates and literature publications. You will work in close collaboration with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Data Management, and Translational Science, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure the right data is collected with the right study set up and the right analysis performed.

 

As an experienced professional with a complete understanding of the field of clinical research, you will be instrumental in the development of our clinical program with novel CAR-T therapies in multiple (hemato-)oncological indications towards clinical trials and regulatory approval. By doing so, you are contributing directly to the initial treatment of cancer patients, and the generation of data to make these CAR-Ts widely available.

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • Master’s degree or PhD in (Bio-)Medical or Life Sciences

  • 5+ years of clinical trial experience in a similar role and a hemato-oncology background are required

  • Experience with cell therapies eligibility review and understanding of the CAR-T manufacturing process is preferred

  • Understanding of phase I-III drug development

  • Excellent team player, able to deliver in a demanding environment

  • Experience with health authority interactions, preferably for BLA submission

  • Experience in interacting with clinical sites and KOLs

  • Excellent writing and communication skills both towards team members within the company as towards external contacts

  • Self-driven and can-do mindset, without compromising quality and compliance

Base compensation for this position ranges from $135,750 to $226,250. Actual base compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge, demonstrated skills and geographic location. The company reserves the right to modify base salary ranges at any time.
