We are looking for a highly motivated DMPK Leader

Scope of the job

In our Research DMPK group, oriented towards discovery of novel small molecules, we are looking for expertise in discovery DMPK to support our early to late phase pre-clinical research.

Your role

In the frame of DMPK studies, you will work as a key member of the discovery team and will be responsible for overseeing in vivo and in vitro studies. You will be responsible for the design and interpretation of the data from such studies:

• In vitro DMPK assays such as metabolic stability, CYP450 induction, CYP450 inhibition, metabolite characterisation etc. including IVIVE.
• In vivo studies: designing studies, LC-MS analysis, metabolite characterisation, pharmacokinetics analysis.
• Overall data interpretation and reporting

Who are you?

• PhD in ADME/DMPK, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry or related areas
• Any relevant experience as a DMPK representative in the pharmaceutical industry in drug discovery projects is desirable
• In-depth understanding of ADME/DMPK principles
• Laboratory experience with ADME in vitro studies, bioanalysis studies or/and in vivo rodent studies are a 'nice to have' attribute in this position
• Good knowledge of the use of PK analysis software. In addition, knowledge and experience with software allowing to perform PBPK and PK/PD analysis and simulation is an advantage.

In addition, we are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills and someone who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. You are well organized and able to get stakeholders on board whilst handling multiple tasks and projects. You thrive in a context with ambitious timelines. You have excellent communication skills in English and you can compile and comprehensively present reports and plans.
