Scope of the job

We are seeking an EU Equipment and Systems Lead to join the EU Technical Support team, leading the equipment life cycle management activities at our decentralized manufacturing sites. In this role, you will be overseeing the activities ongoing within the team, being responsible for the timelines and quality of the deliverables.


Your role

  • Responsible for the lifecycle of equipment at our DMUs (Decentralized Manufacturing Units), including manufacturing and QC equipment.
  • Support root-cause investigations for deviations, determine corrective actions and support implementation of change controls.
  • Support and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Closely collaborate with Quality Assurance, Global Technical Support and other departments.
  • Collaborate with other departments regarding data integrity, system implementation (MES, SAP) related topics.
  • Review and approve procedures, protocols and reports.
  • Lead, perform and review compliance related topics; deviations, CAPAs, change controls, ...
  • Onboarding of new team members.

In this position, you will report to our Head of EU Technical Support.

Job requirements

Who are you? 

  • BSc/MSc in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering or related discipline, with at least 7 years relevant working experience.
  • Extensive experience with GMP manufacturing and Quality Control, Quality Systems, Cell & Gene therapy processes, automated bioreactors and process validation.
  • Responsible for own projects while pursuing company goals in open collaboration.
  • Result-driven and can-do mindset, without compromising quality and compliance.
  • Good interpersonal skills and written and spoken fluency in English.
  • Team player, and good communication.
